We stayed at Rosa dei Venti in April Our exploration of Praiano and of the surrounding area led us to the conclusion that we had the nicest holiday house in the nicest village on the Amalfi coast The house is simple but very comfortable with spectacular views along the coast and out to Capri The landlady was so kind supplying us with bread eggs and tuna when we arrived late in the evening without any provisions Unlike Positano Praiano has not been spoiled by tourism and retains a selection of lovely little food shops with everything you need for self catering Also some very good restaurants Secure car parking was available just above the house - very unusual on the Amalfi coast where parking space is at a premium Perched up at the top of the village the house is not suitable for those who can't manage steps a LOT ...
