We stayed at Villa Auxelia at the beginning of January This is an excellent house on the peninsula half an hour way by car from Naples Convenient for trips to Naples Pompeii Herculaneum and the Amalfi Coast The villa itself is very large we lived in a separate part of it apartments with bedrooms bathrooms and a kitchen There is a lot of space there - a small garden a terrace and big parking right at the front door From one bedroom there is access to the terrace the other bedroom has a large window towards the sea Auxelia and Anna were very friendly and welcoming hosts They gave us all the information and very useful recommendation about the area s infrastructure shops and restaurants The view from the terrace is stunning we can see Sorrento as well as Naples Even in winter the villa is absolutely beautiful And I ...

The location and views were spectacular If your intention is to see Amalfi Coast Capri Naples Vesuvius and surrounding areas you can't beat this location Ferries from nearby Sorrento make travel around the Bay of Napoli less hassle than driving especially if you want to go into Naples The property was very comfortable Our visit required -units Upstairs downstairs and unattached bedroom suite that made for very private sleeping arrangements for our couples Upstairs and downstairs had private kitchens and each unit had at least one bathroom Huge patio outside at upstairs unit and another up on the roof made outdoor activity extremely inviting Our choice to visit in late Oct early Nov resulted in a very wet stay and humidity was more than expected but if you go this time of year they do provide dehumidifiers However our timing was fortunate and we didn't miss anything we wanted to ...
